That is not going to happen. I’ve made absolutely sure of it. I’ve become indispensable to the operation of this Organization and I am determined never to outlive my usefulness. Without me, this entire operation would fall apart. I am not expendable, and as long as I am necessary, Axel is not expendable either, and Xemnas very well knows it.
{{By the way, guys, while I was deleting answered asks a couple of weeks ago, Tumblr spazzed and deleted one I hadn’t had the chance to answer yet. So if you asked me a question within the last month that I haven’t answered, would you kindly resubmit it? Thanks guys!}}
Hmph. You think I’m sentimental? In that case, I have a Nobody or two to introduce you to.
And you’re right. I am perfect for my job.
I carved my place out in this Organization myself, by showing myself to be the most driven individual here. Zexion and Lexaeus may be responsible, as you say, but neither of them want to achieve our goal like I do. No one here wants that more than me. I wanted this position more than anyone else and I put in the work to prove it. That is why I’m second in command.
It’s been a very long time since I’ve regularly been sent on missions. Since I became second in command, the Superior has made it quite clear that he’d prefer I stay at the castle and do the administrative work, and that I be findable if another member has some sort of emergency and needs immediate assistance. As a result, I’m rarely permitted to leave the castle.
I suppose I do miss it, as much as I’m capable of it. It would be…nice to stretch my legs more frequently than I am able. Sparring with lesser Nobodies can only keep one’s skills so sharp. I am never one to turn down the offer of an excursion out of the castle.
…oh lovely. I’m regretting ever asking.
…………….
………………you cannot possibly be serious. Must I really—..?
……………..ugh. Very well.
One day I will kill you.
I think I will clear out some of the more nonsensical asks tonight.
……’joke’ weapon?
…..does………what ever get in the Castle?
No.
…I would have to say McDonald’s. I’m rather fond of their special sauce. And Mexican does not agree with me.
(Pizza Hut is not real pizza. Let no one tell you otherwise.)
……..I think we’re quite done here.
{{Hit me with some asks!}}
{{Hey all! My ask box is nearly empty, and Ax and I are planning to take some more photos together today! So if you’ve got questions for both of us, or questions for one of us you’d like to see the other react to, drop ‘em in my box!
Thanks everybody, and keep being awesome!}}
……you know, I honestly have no idea how that process is intended to work. The Superior has never actually Dusked a numbered member. There were too few of us to spare, and no numbered member has ever been so useless as to be put to better use as a Dusk. But whether or not the Superior is truly capable of such an action, absolutely no one wants to risk it. So as of now, it remains only a threat.
Dusks and creepers are not particularly bright, but they do tend to like being helpful. They are most likely to be annoying by getting in the way as a result of being too stupid to understand what they’re meant to do. Generally, though, they are well-meaning, and give us little trouble.
I did once catch a Dusk being intensely insubordinate, but after I sent it to keep an eye on the movements of the Organization imposter, I never caught it doing any such thing again. Primarily because it never RTC’d.
What a shame. But no use crying over missing Dusks.
I am not sure what you mean by ‘handle’ being around the others, but as this is a reasonable question, I will attempt to answer to the best of my ability.
For the most part, I prefer to keep to myself. I keep my interactions with the other members to a bare minimum, speaking with them only when strictly necessary (with one exception). In particular to the members you ask about, Demyx avoids me like the plague, and I am perfectly content with this state of affairs. He is perfectly capable of performing any of the duties he’s assigned, but he is lazy and completely unmotivated. He often either outright dodges work, or attempts to manipulate other members into picking up his slack, which I find much more distasteful than if he’d merely been incompetent. I interact with him only to berate him for failing to carry out his duties, and it is always a headache to do so.
As for Xigbar…he is another member I take pains to avoid whenever possible. He has a hidden agenda with everything he says and does. Almost every sentence he speaks has a barb in it somewhere. If you cannot find it, it’s only because he’s hidden it too well, and you can be sure he’ll be laughing about your inability to understand the joke. Of course, he is the Nobody closest to Xemnas, and so as second in command I cannot avoid interacting with him. Still, I try to avoid it whenever I can.
Axel, on the other hand, is the exception I mentioned above. He is my last connection to my human life, and being near him reminds me of being human as much as I am capable of remembering. I do try to be near him whenever possible, but my workload affords me little personal time. Recently, he has also taken to avoiding me in favor of the Keyblades, which makes it a bit more difficult to arrange times to meet with him. Nor does he seem all that pleased to see me. But he gets himself into these sorts of ‘moods’ every so often. He’ll get tired of it soon enough.
Hm. I seem to have been neglecting this page. I’d best rectify that.
What’s this…? A reasonable question? I’ll ‘gladly’ answer this one.
It so happens that, even as a teenager, I preferred classical orchestra music. In particular, my favorite composer is Tchaikovsky. I always found his music to be especially stirring.
As a teen, my favorite piece of his was the Flower Waltz, but now I find I prefer the fifth movement of that suite (often called the Arabian Dance). I still listen to his music when I can. Wagner is also quite good.
